Glioblastoma IV Methylated
2 days after 45th Birthday, I went quiet, my wife thought I was having a stroke. Trip to A&E for a cautious look and scan showed I had a large tumour in my brain.
10th April 2025, sat with consultant neurosurgeon who gently explained my situation. I had a potential grade IV Glioblastoma; he could be wrong; he hoped he was but it was unlikely.

16th April; walked into neuro surgery and sat with surgery team to undergo an awake procedure to remove the tumour.29th April; with Oncolcogy planning my radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
28th May 2025; started 30 days of radiotherapy and 42 days continuous of chemotherapy.
11th August 2025; I started stage 2 chemo; 1 week of chemo every 4 weeks for 24 weeks.

9th January 2026; I finished standard protocol (stage 1 and 2)
